I guess its a sign of my age, but I absolutely hate when I see a headline that looks interesting, and when I click, I get a few brief words and an embedded video.

I want to read, be able to re-read, highlight, link back, copy paste for note keeping...

Not see some talking head reading to me!

I will rarely watch, especially the tutorial type. I want bullet points, not to pause every 5 seconds...

Now get off my lawn!

@laraby I agree wholeheartedly! I suppose it may have to do with how the younger generations have been taught to accumulate information. With the way how tablets/laptops and Wi-Fi are integrated in the daily school setting I won't see this change at all. And let us old farts be frank, too - when was the last time you picked up an encyclopedia/dictionnary that wasn't digital? :-)
